Happy Birthday and Pool Time

HAPPY BIRTHDAY PAP!

Last week we celebrated my dad's birthday and took Mia swimming for the first time. At first she was a little unsure on the cold waterbut after a few tear and getting use to the water she splashed a little. Emily and Calvin played motor boat and Calvin loved it. Mia on the other hand would not crack a smile. Hopefully after a few more times of being in the pool she will start to love it. Nick was able to join us for dinner and cake. We had a great day with the family!

The Blue

Over Memorial Day Weekend we took a trip to The Blue. After 5 hours and 12 miles down a dirt road into a canyon we made it. We went with Jake, Shelby, Reagan, Adam, Tessa, Gentry and Rick. While we were there we played in the creek, took the quads out, went for hikes and built dams in the creek, which is a Kerger tradition. Nick caught a crawdad for Mia. She kept reaching for it and wanting to hold it. Each time we tried to put Mia in the water she cried and wanted nothing to do with it. Hopefully next time she will want to play in the water. We had a great time and can't wait to go back.

A month late but finally posted!

Kevin Graduated!

On Friday the 28th Kevin graduated from high school at University Of Phoenix Stadium aka Cardinals Stadium. The week before we were there for Megan's (my cousin) graduation from Ironwood. I had asked Kevin how he wanted us dressed and his only request was that Mia was to wear a bow in her hair. Congrats Kevin! We are so proud of you. Good luck in the Air Force.
