Wyatt William

Wyatt is here... after a long week of being in ob triage, the doctor and back to ob triage my water had broke just a few weeks early. I did not think I was going to make it the full 40 weeks but I also did not think I was going to have him three weeks early (I was perfectly ok with it though). It was another long labor. We got admitted Friday night and since I was 3 weeks early were told to sleep as much as we could and would start things first thing in the am. 5:30 AM hit and the Dr was ready to get Wyatt on the move. It was not until around 1:30 they realized my water had not fully reptured. I went from 5cm to Wyatt is here in about 3 hours. I can only imagine what it would have been like if my water was fully reptured from the get go. Mia wanted nothing to do with me when I was in labor. I do not blame her, the gown and IVs are not a toddlers friend. The next day she was back to jumping all over me and eating my lunch. Seeing Mia's face when Nick brought her in to meet her brother was PRICELESS!

Wyatt's Maternity Pictures

Last week we were able to go up to Greenway (the high school we went to) and take some maternity pictures in their dugout. Mia and Calvin had more fun than Emily and I did taking pictures. Thanks to "Uncle Kris" the kids were able to do whatever they wanted... took out all the bats from the club house, got baseballs and golf balls out and even showed off their hitting skills. Thanks Kris for cleaning the dugout up so we could take pictures! Wyatt is making his move to come see us... I am starting to feel my contractions more. Weekly visits have started and will be taking it week by week till he decides he is ready to meet us. In the meantime we are getting everything ready and trying to figure out plans which is going to be last minute I am sure.

I am having a hard time getting Wyatt's 3D ultrasound photo to load clear. They measured him at 5lb 15oz and had lots of hair. He looks just like Nick... I am anxious to see him once he gets here with his final touch ups!

Wyatt Update!

A friend has this as her weekly blog and I thought I would steal it to update everyone on how this pregnancy has been going.

How far along? 35 weeks tomorrow
Total weight gain: The last weigh in was not pretty.
Maternity clothes: The most uncomfortable thing
Stretch marks? No, hopefully they will not be showing up
Sleep: Waking up every 2-3 hours. Gods way of getting me ready I am sure.
Movement: Yes! Most movement is usually right before I fall asleep.
Best moment of the week: Tomorrow we get to see Wyatt in an ultrasound!
Food cravings: The cravings have gone away, but I will still never pass on In & Out
Have you started to show yet? Yes I feel huge
Gender prediction: Boy
Labor Signs: Not yet, maybe in a few weeks
Symptoms: Shortness of breath, am at the end for sure
Belly Button in or out? Depends on where Wyatt is. Mainly in.
Wedding rings on or off? Just had to take them off. So sad. Made it a lot longer than with Mia.
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy
Looking forward to: Seeing Wyatt tomorrow and hopefully hearing that he is not going to be a 10 lb baby :) and Wyatt's Baby Shower on Saturday.

Mia is getting better and better about the idea of having Wyatt here soon. Can't wait to do our maternity pictures with her and show everyone. Our conversation at the store the other day- Me- Mia look at the baseball outfit, Mia- Mommy me baby boy, Wy-Wy. Needless to say we got the outfit so Mia to give it to her baby boy. Hopefully tomorrow I will be able to get an updated picture of Wyatt.
