Wyatt Update!

A friend has this as her weekly blog and I thought I would steal it to update everyone on how this pregnancy has been going.

How far along? 35 weeks tomorrow
Total weight gain: The last weigh in was not pretty.
Maternity clothes: The most uncomfortable thing
Stretch marks? No, hopefully they will not be showing up
Sleep: Waking up every 2-3 hours. Gods way of getting me ready I am sure.
Movement: Yes! Most movement is usually right before I fall asleep.
Best moment of the week: Tomorrow we get to see Wyatt in an ultrasound!
Food cravings: The cravings have gone away, but I will still never pass on In & Out
Have you started to show yet? Yes I feel huge
Gender prediction: Boy
Labor Signs: Not yet, maybe in a few weeks
Symptoms: Shortness of breath, am at the end for sure
Belly Button in or out? Depends on where Wyatt is. Mainly in.
Wedding rings on or off? Just had to take them off. So sad. Made it a lot longer than with Mia.
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy
Looking forward to: Seeing Wyatt tomorrow and hopefully hearing that he is not going to be a 10 lb baby :) and Wyatt's Baby Shower on Saturday.

Mia is getting better and better about the idea of having Wyatt here soon. Can't wait to do our maternity pictures with her and show everyone. Our conversation at the store the other day- Me- Mia look at the baseball outfit, Mia- Mommy me baby boy, Wy-Wy. Needless to say we got the outfit so Mia to give it to her baby boy. Hopefully tomorrow I will be able to get an updated picture of Wyatt.

Fun Times At Preschool

Mia has been able to go up to my mom's preschool and play in their playroom. She LOVES it! We try and let her go at least once a week. Nick was hunting last week and between completely missing her Daddy and not getting a nap we our first meltdown at "skool." (as Mia calls it) Needless to say I do not think our next trip to school will be tear free.

Favorite thing about going to school- wee "swings"
Best snack- crackers
Play with inside the classroom- babies
Like to play with on the playground- slide and toys
Friend's name is Cody and Shea
Likes to do art and show Mommy and Daddy

Your Eyes Are Not Playing Games!

We have a new post...
December-
Mia and I started the beginning of December heading to Disneyland with the Dennison side of the family. It was a spare of the moment decision. Since it would be our last visit for a few years Nick insisted we went. The house we were suppose to close on the 28th, went to short sale. It was a huge advantage for us so we set out to wait it out and hope it would only take a month or two to close. We are just waiting to hear of what is to come next. Christmas was great this year. Nick's whole family was in town. 33 people, ten of them were under the age of 10, needless to say we were always on the move. Officer Zielinski and her K9 partner Hank came over to "play." The kids loved him and enjoyed being able to sit in the police car and talk with a police officer. Kevin was able to come into town for Christmas and surprised my parents by coming in a day early. Emily, Bryon and Cal were not suppose to know about Kevin coming in early, but Emily was so excited to make signs for Uncle I had to tell her.
January-
We packed and packed and packed... Needless to say having a two year old running around made it a lot more difficult this time around. Mia was our "hinder-helper." She had so much fun playing in everything that we were trying to put into a box. We are settled into my parents house as we wait to hear about the new house. Mia has been able to go to preschool and has LOVED it! The first day she went, I went to get her early and she told me no bye-bye Mommy. That afternoon Cal found out Mia went to preschool in the morning and told Emily he wanted to go too. Nick finished training early and got to see Mia off to her "class" with Cal tagging along for afternoon preschool. Unfortunately she was not sad at all to see us go. A bye-bye Mommy and Daddy and she was off playing. Little Wyatt is making himself nice and content . I am starting to become a lot more uncomfortable and am ready for Mia to meet her little brother or baby boy as she refers to him as. I hope we will be settled into the new house before the little man makes his entrance.

Waiting in line for our first ride!
 Day 2 at the park

 Waiting for Uncle!
 He is HERE!

Officer Zielinski came over with her K9 partner Hank.
Thank you!

 Loving all the attention

Mia and Preschool

Last week Nick and I ran into a schedule conflict. Thankfully Grammie had her feast at the preschool and Mia was able to go and play with her class. When I first dropped Mia off she just stood there and watched the kids. When I came back to pick her up it was like she had been there before. Walking around like she owned the place. She showed me her art projects she made and was not happy at all about having to go home. We are hoping to go back soon adn play again!
(thanks Grammie for having your camera)

Rest In Peace Officer Jones

This is something very near and dear to our hearts. We hope Sergeant Roberts' words bring peace to all the families of fallen officers.

This was written by Phoenix Police Sergeant Phil Roberts.

Anyone wonder what happens to a police officer "after" he is killed in the line of duty? Unfortunately, I had the sad opportunity and yet the privilege to find out firsthand. Several days ago 27 yr. old Glendale Police Officer Brad Jones was shot in the line of duty by a suspect who is not... worth the dirt we walk on. From the moment his ......"brothers and sisters" arrived on scene he was never alone. While the fire department treated him, transporting to the hospital and during his final moments here on Earth he was surrounded by family and fellow officers. Then when he left the hospital, as a matter of reality he had to go to the M.E.'s office. Escorted the entire way by officers from St. Joseph's Hospital and never left alone. 24 hours a day a Glendale Officer was posted at the M.E.'s office. Brad was never alone. When he arrived that fateful morning at the M.E.'s office every available patrol officer in South Mountain Precinct in Phoenix, where the M.E.'s office is located, lined the streets with overhead lights flashing, stood outside there cars and rendered a hand salute...at 3:30 AM. Glendale Officers stood the watch with Phoenix Officers constantly checking if they needed anything. A sandwich, a drink or maybe just a brief break. Brad was never alone. Then yesterday afternoon it was time for Brad to be delivered to a funeral home. I was privileged to be part of an estimated twenty police cars formed at an impromptu moment just from South Mountain Precinct in Phoenix to pay what respect we could. We lined 7th Avenue at the beginning of rush hour, stopped with overhead lights on and standing at hand salute. As the procession pasted the Phoenix Police Department's Crime Lab over twenty lab technicians came out to the side of the street and paid their respects to the M.E.'s vehicle with Phoenix Officers saluting, led by two Glendale Motorcycle Officers, a Glendale police car and two Phoenix Police Cars as they made their way to the funeral home in Surprise Arizona. Respect, total respect is what happens to an officer "after" he is killed in the line of duty...as it should be. Tonight a wife and two little girls go to bed without their father and daddy. But Brad is not alone...he never was, never has been and never will be.
