What Mia Has Been Up To

Our little girl is becoming a very independent girl. She has started putting herself down for naps, potty training is complete, and is wanting to do everything without Mommy and Daddy's help. Daddy is not enjoying this one so much.

Mia's joys are singing, playing doctor, taking pictures, and playing with her babies and stuffed animals.

We have quite a little, well loud, singer on our hands. If you have heard her you know there is nothing quiet about her performances. Mia belts out songs that we have no clue where they come from or what the song is. Dr. Mia is the cutest doctor I have ever seen. She loves Doc McStuffins and tries to be everyone's doctor and fix everything with her new doctor kit.

Check-Up Time!

Can't believe our baby girl is almost three. Preschool starts the beginning of Sept. She is counting down the days to go play with the girls and boys!

Our Little Firecrackers!!

We celebrating by the pool!

Our home

It has been a little over two months since we have been in the house. I never thought I would get the boxes unpacked and everything put away. On the 4th of July we had a little party to celebrate!

Things we did with lots of help before we moved in and as we moved in:
Had the whole house painted
Removed all baseboards and put new ones in, plus painting them
Painted doors and doorways. Still working on that one
Put in new toilets (we were not allowed to have small midget ones)
Had the carpets and tile cleaned
Cleaned, cleaned and cleaned some more
Painted bathroom fixtures
Put ceiling fans in all the rooms
Added a pool fence (most important)
Oh and garage shelves
Pulled weeds!

The move in day was so overwhelming!

Here are some before and afters:

3 Months Already!

I can't believe we have been a family of four for 3 months! Not too sure where the time has gone. We did not have a three month check up so we did our own weigh in ...drum roll... 14 lbs! He is a chunk and his Kerger genes have kicked in the sleeping department. He is going anywhere between 8-10 hours in between feedings. Wyatt is full of smiles, coos and giggles. He lights up so fast with Mia. I think it is cause he takes every chance he can get to give her a little pay back and pull her hair. We are in 6-9 month clothes. Here are a few pictures from our 3 month mini shoot!

This one is for my Aunts!

No more pictures Mommy!

Newborn Shoot

It took us two days to get our pictures done... The second day was a success! My mom's bff, Mary,  took Wyatt's pictures as a gift to my mom. Here are a few of my favorites. Thank you Mary for capturing this time in our life!
I still must have my pregancy memory and just realized I never published this.

The Big Sister

Daddy coming to get her to meet her brother

Holding her baby boy for the first time

Such a good big sister

 Welcoming Wyatt home!

 Lookin good!

Showing brother his future job of cutting the grass with Daddy

Telling Wyatt, Hank the police dog is a good boy

I asked Mia a few questions about her brother and being a big sister...
What does Wyatt do? "Ni-night" and "pee-ew"
What are you not allowed to do anymore? No more rock
Do you like you hold brother? On the couch
Can brother eat your food? Baby boy no teeth
When Wyatt cries Mia makes sure to tell him, "It is ok bud"
